The List is a “coalition” of massage hobbyists who hold providers “ACCOUNTABLE”.
The List was started 8 years ago and has grown significantly over the years. With 10,000 subscribers and 500 provider listings, the site is now the largest and most comprehensive massage review site anywhere.
Hobbyists depend on the site for honest, “no-BS” information to make good decisions when selecting a masseuse. The List has over 4,000 posted reviews.
The List is “Hobbyist based”–that is, our loyalty is to YOU, the massage Hobbyist, in providing honest and useful reviews that hold providers accountable.
Is the site a membership site?
The List became a private-access, pay “Membership” site in 2010. That change allowed us to better serve our key constituency: massage hobbyists.
Membership is open to hobbyists and is as low as $7 per month.
Memberships are available in 6 or 12 month terms:
$48 for 6 months
$84 for 12 months
These rates are considerably lower than other sites and very affordable so as many hobbyists as possible can easily join. Limited financial hardship memberships are available.

Is The List protected “Free Speech”?
Yes!
The First Amendment protects our right to share openly with each other our opinions and experiences about massage.
The List is an interactive site that enables access by multiple users and is NOT an “original publisher”, “producer” or “speaker” of any content.
The site complies fully with the “Communications Decency Act of 1996″ (47 U.S.C. § 230) and the “Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998″ (17 U.S.C. § 512) and is afforded all immunity and protection granted therein.
NOTE: The List EXPRESSLY PROHIBITS any and all sexual content!

I’m a provider. How do I advertise on The List?
The site posts paid sponsor ads by providers.
Advertising on the site is very affordable and effective. The site has the highest viewership of any massage site, giving very large yet targeted exposure. For information and rates on advertising, contact the List.
Advertising on the site does NOT in any way affect a provider’s reviews.
I’m a provider. How can I get a listing?
Most listings are submitted by hobbyists who wish to add a provider to the site.
However, free listings are given upon provider request.
To have yourself listed, email your: Name, phone, email, web site, location, rate, and pics.
NOTE: Listing of any provider does NOT require that provider’s “approval”.
Reviews must be submitted by actual clients. They must be a detailed (no 2-liners!) description of the massage experience. For fairness, only one review by each hobbyist is allowed for each provider.
NO sexual comments or references are ever posted. The site may edit, censor, delete, or refuse, any review that is indecent, obscene, defamatory, relates to an illegal activity, in poor taste, or is inconsistent with its “Terms of Use.”
Where do I submit reviews?

Give:
1) Provider Name/Location
2) Detailed Description of Massage
3) Rating (1-5 Stars)
4) Your List “Username”
How long does it take to post a review? Are reviews edited?
Reviews are usually posted within a week or so.
The delay is due to backlog of reviews (about 2 reviews are posted every day) and time to verify that each review is legit (ie, submitted by an actual hobbyist.)
All reviews are posted unless they are clearly defamatory/false, contain profane or sexual language, or otherwise serve no value to the site.
Reviews about new (or lesser known) providers may be given priority due to higher interest in learning about those providers.
Edits are only for spelling/grammer and the like.
Does The List allow “self-reviews?”
NO!! Self posting reviews by providers is ABSOLUTELY prohibited!
The primary objective of the site is to provide a credible, “no-BS” forum for honest information about providers. Self reviews are completely contrary to that objective.
Every review is researched (often with phone verification) before posting to ensure that it is a legitimate review from an actual client.
Any provider found to be self-posting will be removed/banned from the site.
What if a provider’s Area Code is not shown?
For brevity, 619 area code numbers just show the phone number itself.
1) Type name (or location, phone #, or keyword) in the “Search by Name/Keyword” box in upper right corner.
2) Search by location, rating, or rate using the “Tag Search” button.
Mixer parties are happy hour events for providers and hobbyists.
They allow hobbyists to meet providers face-to-face in a casual, fun environment. They are held every few months and about 50 people attend.
This section exposes providers who give sub-standard service based on Hobbyist input.
The List recognizes “5-Star Providers” who have distinguished themselves by giving consistently high quality service and value.
It is strongly recommended that hobbyists consider ONLY “5-Star” providers when selecting a provider.
Only about 10% of all providers qualify. They are truly the “Best of the Best”!

- Independent Contractors: All massage service providers referenced on this site are independent contractors and are not employees nor in ANY other way affiliated with this site.
- Non-Solicitation/Illegal Purpose: This site does not facilitate nor promote the solicitation of prostitution, lewd acts, or any other illegal acts. All persons reviewed on the site represent themselves as professional, licensed massage service providers.
- Any money exchanged is strictly for legitimate massage services and anything else that may occur is a matter of choice between consenting adults and is completely unrelated to the use of this site.
- The site does not describe, condone, or encourage the engagement of any lewd or other illegal act for money or other consideration, nor the solicitation, offer, or agreement to engage in any lewd or other illegal act for money or other consideration.
- Communications Decency Act of 1996: This site complies with federal and state “3rd party/ interactive” website laws (Communications Decency Act of 1996, 47 U.S.C. § 230, et. alia) and is afforded full First Amendment protection.

Is there a Hobbyist “Code of Etiquette?”
The List has always been about creating relationships of trust and respect between hobbyists and providers. As such, the site endorses a hobbyist “Code of Etiquette” that was created by a group of select providers:
Cancellations/No Shows
Our time is valuable; we also have families, other jobs and appointments to keep. If you schedule an appointment and something comes up that you have to cancel, call us as soon as you know.
No-shows and repeated last minute cancellations may land you on the “Bad Boy List”. If you’re going to be late, call and ask if the day’s schedule is flexible enough to take you late or reschedule.
Just showing up 15 or 20 minutes late is unacceptable. If you make an appointment days in advance, call and
confirm.
Attitude
The service we provide is a healing art. We expect to be treated with kindness and respect and you should expect no less from us. Cell phones should be turned off.
Verification
If you are seeing a provider for the first time, she will ask if you are “List Verified” (if so, have your verification code ready), or otherwise have provider references. If you leave a message, include your verification code.
If you don’t have a verification code because you don’t think it’s important, think again. Many providers will not see clients who are not verified (have no references).
Hygiene and Health
If you have the flu, a cold or a skin condition, tell your provider when you make the appointment, not after you arrive. If she decides not to see you until you are well, respect her decision; her health is important to her.
Please bathe before you come in. If that’s not possible, ask if there is a shower available to you. A shower the morning of your 5 PM appointment does NOT count.
Touching
Groping and grabbing your provider is NEVER okay. Don’t assume she allows any touching at all.
Do not ask her on the phone what she does in session; every session is different depending on the client.
She will answer your questions when you get there. Even if she allows it, always ask her permission prior, this is common courtesy.
Payment/Tips
Tips are not required but always appreciated for exceptional service. Set the agreed upon fee on a table before the session begins. If you are not satisfied with the service, don’t go back.
Like at a restaurant, if you don’t like the food, you still must pay for it.
