The review about Stacey in Spring Valley bothers me. If a new client comes to my house and calls to cancel then asks me to come outside I would be suspicious of him and would not go outside either. From a safety standpoint she did just the right thing. I think it was the reviewer who was out of line here. Cancelling at the last minute AFTER you arrive… whats up with that? And since she did NOT come outside, your assumption that it was not her picture invalidates your whole review. You were disrespectful and deserved to be treated just the way you were. This is just my opinion.

To Don: I have now read your vilifying "Comment". You claim to have seen her a year ago and in your comment gave a bad review from that time… my question is this… Why did you make an appt with her, why didnt you tell her you were a previous client, why did you cancel while sitting in your car outside her house, and how do you know what she looks like now since you never saw her? Your review sounds more like a witch hunt to me. Your actions were rude and unacceptable behavior. She was 100% correct NOT to answer your personal questions and not come out to meet a stranger. She trusted you enough to give you her address but you didnt have the courtesy to walk up to her door. What do you have against this woman? She has never even heard of The List but she remembers you because of the suspicion you aroused. You sound like a "provider vigilante". It would have taken you 3 minutes to knock on her door and apologise for cancelling at the last minute… at least then you would know what she looks like and post the truth instead of assuming.

Some reviews make me wonder if the guy is a complete nut job or just very poor at expressing himself.  In either case, the review does not reflect well upon The List, and just might be an unwarranted attack on the provider.  I was pleased to see that several members of our community (both male and female) refused to let this go unchallenged.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Review sections should be limited to REVIEWS ONLY. This means a reflection and rating of an actual encounter (ambiance, amenities, skill set, appearance, location, privacy, connection, overall experience). No shows, flakes, and bad connections should be saved for a 'bitch box" or general forum. If an individual has not experienced the encounter there's no merit or validity in submitting a "review" on anything, period. Perhaps there should be a NCNS section in the forum. At the very, very least these submissions may be better served in the TOFTT or Dr Phils lists. (that is the purpose for them, right?). I understand that the site is time consuming to manage. There's a commitment to restructure, evolve and streamline the information to best meet the desired needs. All of that is good. I understand also that it is designed for decision making purposes but this type of feedback does little to help the gents and could potentially and possibly unfairly hurt the therapist.

As for the particular 'review' in question, unless I'm missing something, it makes little logical sense to me. If an apt is set, it's set. If you roll up and for any reason are uncomfortable and feel you need to leave so be it. Just understand it may be considered a no show as the time was reserved and if the other party was available and willing they have now lost that reserved time.

To expect anyone to leave the security of their location and come out to meet after a confirmed appointment cancels upon arrival is a completely unrealistic expectation. To verbally call out the reason due as a change in or poor physical appearance is absurd. I don't know ANYONE that would agree to such an odd request.

I for one support placing these types of rants in the forum, toftt and Dr Phils sections, not the review sections.

Just my opinion, but a strong one.

Confused

Occasionally a review will slip by and get posted that is not clearly written, does not make logical sense, nor reflect well on the reviewer.

The review of Stacy is a good example of that and it has been removed.

Thanks for bringing to my attention!
